Ronald McDonald House of Durham uses the Microsoft suite of products to manage a variety of tasks, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams. There is a wide range of competency among users of these software products across the organization. There are 6-10 people who would benefit from some basic training in how to use these tools for job specific needs to increase efficiency.
We would like to create a tutoring resource where Credit Suisse volunteers could help train our employees to make them be more efficient with the software they use most in their jobs. This could take several forms, and we do not have a pre-determined idea on the best approach. It may be restricted to one-on-one sessions with employees, or it may include some reference sites or resources that they can refer back to for useful tips and reminders.
Built with love, Ronald McDonald House offers a comforting home away from home and a community of support for seriously ill children and their families. The House supports families of chronically ill children through hospitality (lodging & meals) as well as through social and emotional support programs. Parents and caregivers are better able to be present for their children's treatment, improving children's medical outcomes. In some cases families would not seek life saving care at Duke without Ronald McDonald House because it is simply not possible to live in a car or waiting room with patient siblings and other family, without access to affordable food, for extended periods of time

Élaborez une approche de formation flexible tant pour les bénévoles que pour les employés de RMH. Idéalement, il faudrait proposer une formation individuelle axée sur les besoins des stagiaires. Elle serait axée sur la combinaison de plusieurs éléments : surmonter les obstacles quotidiens, complétée par une courte liste des fonctions logicielles essentielles nécessaires pour acquérir les compétences de base.
