Background of the project
- In partnership with Credit Suisse, Empact is running a programme designed to empower founders and leadership teams of 11 social enteprises in APAC. Called baSEcamp, it aims to equip these founders and leadership teams with strong business perspectives, address their specific organisational and individual challenges, as well as provide opportunities for peer learning.
- One of the participants of baSEcamp is finding it challenging to communicate their niche business model to investors. As a result, they struggle to find suitable investors in the region who buy into their unique social enterprise model to support their work.
