Giving Tuesday brings people, nonprofits, companies and communities across Switzerland together to celebrate generosity and turn it into positive action.

On 1 December 2026, we celebrate giving and the generosity happening across Switzerland — but generosity doesn’t have to stop there.

Giving Tuesday Switzerland brings nonprofit fundraising campaigns together in one shared national initiative, making it easier to discover nonprofits working on causes you care about, support their work and make generosity across Switzerland more visible.

For supporters

Whether you're taking part as an individual, a team or a company, there are different ways to support the movement.

1. Choose a nonprofit

Explore the participating campaigns and find a nonprofit working on a cause you care about. Donate directly to their campaign and your contribution will support that nonprofit and its work.

2. Support them all

Can't choose just one? Donate to the central Giving Tuesday Switzerland 2026 initiative. Funds raised through the central initiative will be divided equally among all participating nonprofit campaigns. With one donation, you can support multiple organisations and causes across Switzerland.

3. Bring others together

Organise an event, fundraiser or activity around the campaign. Bring friends, colleagues or your community together to raise funds, create awareness and encourage others to take part.

4. Bring your nonprofit on board

Already support a nonprofit you care about but don't see them here? Invite them to join Giving Tuesday Switzerland and create their own campaign. Once their campaign is live, you can support it directly, share it with your network and help them mobilise even more people.

Across Switzerland, thousands of nonprofits create positive impact every day. Yet many face similar challenges: reaching new supporters beyond their existing networks, raising the funds they need to sustain and develop their work, making their mission and impact more visible, and mobilizing more people around their cause.

At the same time, many people and companies want to contribute but do not always know where to start or which causes to support.

GivingTuesday creates a shared moment to bring these two sides together.

Participating nonprofits can create their own fundraising campaigns, make their work more visible and reach new supporters.

People and companies can discover organizations and causes they care about and support them directly – or donate to the central initiative and support all participating nonprofit campaigns together.

By bringing many individual campaigns and actions together as part of one national movement, GivingTuesday Switzerland helps make generosity across Switzerland more visible and turns individual acts of giving into collective impact.
