11 million girls are at risk of being pushed out of school by the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact. They’ll be joining more than 132 million girls who were already not in school. These girls are more at risk than ever of not only losing their education, but of experiencing profound violations of their rights. Support, comfort, stability – it is more than just a seat, it's a step in the right direction.  

We invite you to join us in creating a world where girls can face down the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, sit back down at their once empty classroom seats, and find the inspiration inside themselves to reach a brighter future.

We can teach girls their rights and strengthen their ability to stand up for themselves. We can create supportive communities by turning leaders, parents, teachers, and boys into allies for girls’ right to learn. We can empower girls to return to school and complete their education, to become learners, leaders, and change makers in their society. It all starts with getting them back into school and keep them in charge of their own life.
