Recording Audiobooks
Volunteer with ConnectFor to assist our partner NGOs by recording short audiobooks for their kids and help students with disabilities become better readers and learners.
- Volunteers will be required to record audiobooks for kids with disabilities. Some of these stories would be of the genres: Motivational, Self-help, and so on which would help promote their personal development.
- The deliverables will be in the form of audiobooks for the students, with a minimum duration of 5 mins and a maximum duration of 30 mins per story. Volunteers are required to submit a minimum of at least one deliverable to mark the successful completion of this event.
- Volunteers will be assigned a topic/story for recording the audio.
- ConnectFor will share a volunteer guide for this activity with the volunteers that sign up for the activity.
Milestones
Recording Audiobooks
Stories have the ability to captivate our minds and transfer us to an alternate world. Audiobooks are a powerful tool that helps students with disabilities become better readers and learners. One should volunteer so the students from the organizations would experience the same through your stories/ audiobooks.
Activity Flow:
1) The event will begin with a sensitization session for the volunteers
2) Activity instructions will be shared with the volunteers
3) Topics for recording the stories will be allocated to the volunteers
4) Volunteers are expected to work on the deliverables (audiobooks) during the event and submit them over email with the ConnectFor team
5) E-certificates will be shared with the volunteers within 5-7 business days post submission of the deliverables
