Volunteer Chapter Leader(Canada)
Rahab's Daughters is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to serve as our Volunteer Chapter Leader in Illinois. In this role, you will lead local efforts to support the organization's mission, coordinate volunteer activities, and engage the community in the fight against human trafficking.
- Lead and manage the local chapter, including planning and coordinating activities, recruiting, training, and motivating volunteers, and ensuring alignment with Rahab's Daughters' mission.
- Raise awareness about human trafficking through educational presentations, workshops, community events, and by acting as a spokesperson for Rahab's Daughters.
- Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders to foster collaboration and support.
- Organize and oversee outreach efforts, including rescue missions, support services for survivors, and coordinating fundraising activities.
- Advocate for policies and practices that prevent human trafficking and support survivors, and represent Rahab's Daughters at local events and in the media.
- Maintain regular communication with the national and international management team, providing updates and submitting monthly reports on chapter activities, achievements, challenges, and needs.
1. Training Programs:
- Leadership Training: Comprehensive training on leadership, volunteer management, and community engagement strategies.
- HT101 Training: Covers the fundamentals of human trafficking, including recognition of signs, prevention strategies, and how to support survivors.
2. Operational Support:
- Access to Organizational Materials: Detailed guides, manuals, and resources related to Rahab's Daughters' mission, vision, values, and operational procedures.
- Communication Tools: Email accounts, phone lines, and other communication tools necessary for outreach and coordination.
3. Event and Activity Resources:
- Planning Guides: Templates and guides for organizing events, workshops, and community engagement activities.
- Fundraising Tools: Materials and strategies to help coordinate fundraising activities and campaigns.
4. Ongoing Support:
- Regular Check-ins: Scheduled calls and meetings with the national and international management team for guidance and support.
- Feedback Mechanism: A system for providing feedback and receiving assistance with challenges and issues.
5. Marketing and Advocacy Materials:
- Promotional Content: Flyers, brochures, and digital content for raising awareness and promoting Rahab's Daughters' mission in the community.
- Advocacy Resources: Information and materials to help advocate for policies and practices that prevent human trafficking and support survivors.

Program Coordination

- Support chapter operations and contribute to the organization's overall funding needs.
- Manage the chapter’s budget and resources effectively.
- Ensure efficient use of funds and resources.
Advocacy and Outreach
- Advocate for policies and practices that prevent human trafficking and support survivors.
- Engage in advocacy efforts at the local level.
- Represent Rahab's Daughters at local events, meetings, and in the media.
- Promote the cause and increase visibility.
Reporting and Communication
- Maintain regular communication with the national and international management team.
- Provide updates on chapter activities and progress.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports.
- Document chapter achievements, challenges, and needs.
Consulting Session
- Give us feedback on how we can improve our chapter leadership and community engagement efforts.
- Provide insights and suggestions based on your experience and community interactions.
