For children and young people in Switzerland
As the largest Swiss foundation for the promotion of children and young people, we get involved wherever children and young people and their parents encounter the greatest challenges. With Pro Juventute they have a counterpart who hears, sees, understands, strengthens and stands up for them.
Our daily work is based on three pillars.
- On the one hand, we want to give children freedom and thus promote their self-confidence.
- We also impart practical life skills in a variety of ways.
- Finally, we advise children and young people in difficult situations as well as in need and help directly.
We are all challenged by the current situation. Together, with solidarity and with mutual support, we will make it through this uncertain time! Every donation helps so that we can continue to be there for parents, children and young people.

Pro Juventute
As the largest Swiss foundation for child and youth empowerment, we take action where children and young people face the greatest challenges. In Pro Juventute, children, teenagers, and young adults have an ally that listens to them, sees them, understands them, empowers them, and advocates on their behalf.
For over 100 years, Pro Juventute has been supporting children and youth, along with their parents, on their journey to becoming self-determined and responsible individuals. Every year, over 300,000 children and young people, as well as nearly 140,000 parents in Switzerland, benefit from its diverse range of services. Through its programs and initiatives, the foundation strengthens the resources of children, teenagers, and young adults, enabling them to develop in a mentally healthy way. Its most vital service is the "Beratung + Hilfe 147" (Advice + Help 147). The 147 emergency helpline is Switzerland's only easily accessible support and counseling service for children and youth. Here, trained professionals provide immediate help and advice around the clock, day and night.
