Unity Bridge and Entrance Phase III
The Chosewood Park Unity Bridge and Entrance project Phase III is a transformative initiative aimed at revitalizing Chosewood Park, a cherished green space and Certified Wildlife Habitat. This phase focuses on establishing a new east-side entrance, enhancing the nature trail, and improving pedestrian connectivity between residential and future retail areas. The project involves stabilizing the streambank, installing two 60-foot Stone Archway Bridges with iron railing, and implementing stormwater management to prevent stream erosion. By creating a safe and accessible pathway with boardwalks and natural raisers, the project aims to enhance recreation opportunities and preserve the park’s ambiance. This effort, supported by CP-CDC through grant funding, aspires to create an inclusive and inviting space promoting health, wellness, and social connectivity among the community.
Our small, volunteer-led nonprofit is dedicated to achieving significant project goals despite financial challenges. The grant funds we receive are on a reimbursement basis, creating a need for working capital to keep our operations smooth. This initiative is spearheaded by our dedicated Project Manager and Executive Board member, who has nobly deferred her fees to ensure that we meet our project's objectives and milestones effectively. Her commitment exemplifies the passion and perseverance driving our organization forward in service to our cause.
We are actively seeking no to low-interest loans and capital investments to support our growing initiatives. These funds will primarily be directed towards enhancing our working capital and covering operational costs, ensuring the continuity and expansion of our services. By securing these financial resources through donations or favorable loan agreements, we aim to maintain our momentum and effectively implement strategic developments, ultimately contributing to our long-term sustainability and impact.
