Labdoo Laptop Sanitation Workshop
About the event
Labdoo Switzerland offers a dedicated Corporate Volunteering Day Workshop and Team Building Event.
On this day, 8 to 15 employees will assist in refurbishing decommissioned IT equipment (primarily laptops).
The team enthusiastically engages in various tasks across multiple stations. Employees enjoy the hands-on activities, while at the same time strengthening team spirit and a sense of community. They also contribute to a meaningful cause and gain first-hand experience of how they can make a sustainable impact.
Used and no longer needed laptops are refurbished and made ready for use by children, adolescents, orphans, and refugees around the world.
Educational projects worldwide can subsequently apply for these devices. Each refurbished laptop can improve educational opportunities for around 30 children and young people.
Typically, around 100 devices are processed during a single workshop day. In total, we are able to support approximately 3,000 children and adolescents.
