Tour Accompaniment in the Central Switzerland Region

About the event

Your employees will accompany an experienced volunteer on a distribution tour.

Using a refrigerated vehicle, surplus yet high-quality food will be collected from retail outlets and distributed, according to a fixed route plan, to social institutions and distribution points within the region.

Each tour transports approximately 60 to 70 crates of food per day.

There is no cost for individual participation.

Groups are supported by the regional coordinator.

At the end of the tour, we offer a small snack at the respective regional location and provide the team with an opportunity to reflect on the day’s experiences.

For group participation (maximum of 5 people), we kindly request a donation of CHF 1,000.00 to cover coordination efforts.

Registration must be completed at least four weeks prior to the assignment.

Description

Location:
Please arrive punctually at 07:30 at Schweizer Tafel, Central Switzerland Region, Station-Ost 1, 6023 Rothenburg. In case of delay, please inform the Head of the Central Switzerland Region immediately at +41 58 255 62 42.

Arrival:
We recommend using public transportation and alighting at Rothenburg Station. The Schweizer Tafel building is just a short walk away. If you require a parking space, please notify us in advance. Only two parking spaces are available on-site. Additional paid parking is available in front of the premises.

Daily Schedule:
The day will begin with a briefing conducted by the regional manager or dispatcher. The scheduled tour will then commence in the Central Switzerland region. Meals will be taken en route. Return to Rothenburg is expected at approximately 4:00 p.m., marking the end of the assignment.
