Tour Accompaniment in the Aargau Region

About the event

Your employees will accompany an experienced volunteer on a distribution tour.

Using a refrigerated vehicle, surplus yet perfectly edible food items will be collected from retail outlets.

These goods will be distributed according to a predefined route plan to social institutions and distribution centers within the region.

Each tour involves the transportation of approximately 60 to 70 crates of food per day.

There are no costs associated with individual participation.

Groups will be supervised by the regional coordinator.

At the end of the tour, we will offer a small snack at the respective regional location and provide the team with an opportunity to reflect on their experiences.

For group participation (maximum of 5 people), we kindly request a donation of CHF 1,000.00 to cover our coordination efforts.

Registration must be completed at least four weeks prior to the date of participation.

Description

Assignment Location:

Please arrive punctually at 07:30 a.m. at Schweizer Tafel, Aargau Region, Aarauerstrasse 70, 5603 Staufen.
In case of delay, please inform the Aargau Region office immediately by calling 058 255 03 60.

Arrival:

We recommend traveling by public transport. Please alight at the bus stops “Lenzburg Dufourstrasse” or “Fünflinden.”
The Schweizer Tafel building is within a short walking distance.
If you require a parking space, please notify us in advance. There are only two parking spaces available on site. A limited number of public parking spaces are located in front of the premises.

Daily Schedule:

A briefing will be conducted by the regional coordinator or the dispatcher.
Following this, the scheduled tour in the Aargau region will commence. Meals will be taken during the tour.
The return to Staufen is expected around 4:00 p.m., marking the end of the assignment.
