About the event
In Switzerland, approximately 80 to 90 million tons of waste are produced each year. This amounts to 716 kg of waste per person! Unfortunately, a large portion of this waste is not properly disposed of or recycled, but instead ends up in nature. This has aesthetic and economic consequences and harms animals and plants. By participating in the CleanUp event, you will help nature reclaim a piece of wilderness while spending an enjoyable day outdoors.
