Budgeting Tools
Challenge
Every year, Room to Read’s Stakeholder and Community Engagement team offers multiple packaged trips to donors to visit Room to Read projects. Trips are priced to cover all aspects of a donor’s travel and Room to Read expenses. The tools used to budget and setting a per person price point trips are in need of an overhaul to create a more efficient process.

Improve budgeting tools for Room to Read's packaged trips for donors and develop a pricing model to create a more efficient process.

We are achieving this goal by helping children in historically low-income communities develop literacy skills and a habit of reading, and by supporting girls as they build skills to succeed in school and negotiate key life decisions. Room to Read has benefited more than 32 million children and has worked in 21 countries and 49,000 communities, with additional support through remote solutions that facilitate learning beyond the classroom.
