Digital Brochure - Business model and pricing workshop
Pro Juventute offers support to about 53'000 families in Switzerland each year with the letters to parents (Elternrbiefe). The written brochures contain expert information and practical advice on dealing with children, tailored to the child's age. Letters to parents is a well established product exicsting for over 50 years. Subscribed parents receive the brochures on a regular basis by postal services. In the vast majority of the cases, the subscriptions are free of charge for the parents and paid by their local community or other institutions of the public authorities. There are several different distribution systems in work currently.
Now, Pro Juventute needs to establish a new business model and define its price, as the letters to parents will also be offered in digital form. The digital letters to parents not only provide the content of the printed brochures, but offer additional value for both the parents and the financing institutions/ sponsors. The digital version will be offered additionally to the printed one.
The objective of this volunteering is to develop one or more suitable business model(s) and according pricing suggestions that can then be evaluated with the financing institutions/sponsors.
The volunteer should help prepare the workshop for November 23rd 2021 and lead through it. About 10-15 people from Pro Juventute from different departments will be participating. Thanks to the volunteers' skills, the various participants of the workshop are lead skillfully through the process and we see results by the end of the 3 hours time. This will include one or more sessions with the project owner to understand the context, detailed planning of the workshop in consultation with the project owner and finally the leading of the workshop itself. If necessary, also a debriefing after the workshop should be possible.
There is a lot of information material available: presentation on the current content and distribution systems, cost calculations, research of target audiences, competitor analysis, etc.

Hier erhalten Kinder und Jugendliche Tag und Nacht durch ausgebildete Fachkräfte sofort Hilfe und Rat.
