Tour de Credit Suisse 2018, from July 24th - 28th

For the fifth year running, a Swiss team of Credit Suisse employees will be gearing up for the latest of their extreme cycling challenges in 2018, raising vital funds for a Swiss charity called Stiftung Kinderhilfe Sternschnuppe.

We support the Charity Kinderhilfe Sternschnuppe in Zurich. Since 1993, the charity has been fulfilling different wishes. With a large fundraising effort we want to bring happiness and excitement to the children. The whole amount will be transferred to the project called "Heart's Desires".

Important to know that the participants are expected to cover the costs of their accommodation, food and drink.

Each participant should pledge to fundraise for the Credit Suisse charity of the year in their office.

Stiftung Kinderhilfe Sternschnuppe

Wir erfüllen Wünsche und lassen Träume wahr werden. Wir setzen alles daran, Unmögliches möglich zu machen und dem Kind ein unvergessliches Erlebnis zu schenken. Einen Fussballstar treffen, einen Tag lang im höchsten Gebäude der Stadt Lift fahren oder bei den Dreharbeiten der Lieblingsserie dabei sein – Herzenswünsche sind so individuell wie die Kinder, die sie träumen.

Über 3'200 Herzenswünsche hat die Stiftung Kinderhilfe Sternschnuppe seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 1993 schon erfüllt. (Stand Oktober 2022).

Enzo, 7, loves firefighters. His dream is - no wonder! - to visit the barracks of real firefighters. He had a morning specially designed for him at the Pully barracks.

It was the daughter of one of the firemen who took him by the hand and helped realize Enzo's dream. Equipped with his helmet he had the chance to attend an exercise, put on a fireman's jacket, climb into the truck at the cockpit and even try a water gun! Enzo and the team came out radiant and refreshed of this magnificent visit!

Fly through the air like a bird - what a feeling! Whenever Leo looked up to the sky and saw paragliders fly through the blue, his heart beat higher. Leo was sure, such a flight, that would be an unforgettable experience for him too.

By the end of may, we realized Leo's most heartfelt wish. It was like a dream for him. Most of all, he loved to fly loopings. A breathtaking feeling, not only for himself, but also for his family, waiting for Leo on save ground.

Who doesn't know Roger Federer ... Recently we realized the dream of Celine, Nils, Kian und Michael who all admire Roger Federer as their biggest idol. The four kids had the chance to meet the "GOAT" in person and have a likable chat with him. Roger spent almost one hour with them, signed a lot of merchandising articles, smiled for selfies and was obviously enjoying the time with his young fans. What a gift and unforgettable moment for everyone!

Diego had the chance to meet all the players he adores so much and have a little training with them. Congratulations to all of the employees of Credit Suisse who participated in Tour de Credit Suisse 2018. We are so proud of you all! Your mission seemed almost impossible in our eyes. It is amazing, that you made it, wow! Many thanks for your commitment. We hope that you enjoyed it and had some time to recover in the meantime.
