Red Cross Vacation for Crisis-Affected Children
The Red Cross camp gives girls and boys who wouldn't normally get to go on vacation the opportunity to enjoy a care-free time. During the vacation they learn about all sorts of things that will benefit them in their lives.
Whether it's playing football, dancing, or skipping – something truly special is in store for the 9 to 13-year-olds planning to vacation with the Red Cross next summer. Although now living in Switzerland, they've experienced war and have had to flee from their homes; they are traumatized, and feel lost and excluded. The Swiss Red Cross gives them the chance to enjoy being a child again.
Donate for these refugee children in Switzerland and enable them to enjoy a care-free time at a very special holiday camp planned for next July 2019.

Im Inland konzentrieren wir unsere Tätigkeiten auf folgende Zielgruppen:
- Sozial benachteiligte, vereinsamte sowie schutzbedürftige Menschen
- Gesundheitlich gefährdete Menschen
- Betagte oder gebrechliche Menschen und ihre Angehörigen
- Asyl Suchende, vorläufig Aufgenommene, anerkannte Flüchtlinge sowie Sans-Papiers
Im Ausland helfen wir:
- Menschen, die von Katastrophen oder Krisen bedroht oder betroffen sind
- Menschen, die unzureichenden Zugang zu Gesundheitsversorgung haben

The Red Cross vacation has taken place in Fiesch (VS) for the fourth time. 58 kids were given a break from their everyday lifes. They had fun with various activities like doing handcrafts, swimming, soccer, minigolf and a lot of other games.
On the photo you see 2 girls decorating a frame for the group picture of all of their new friends. Everyone was given a framed picture afterwards to take home as a souvenir from the week.

Red Cross Vacation will take place in July 2019: We are very excited and grateful that thanks to your contribution we will be able to invite 50 children to the camp that will take place from 15 - 22 July 2019. With the amount raised through Copalana, we will be able to organise a leisure programme including activities like playful first aid classes or swimming classes. Thank you so much for your support!
