About the event

National Clean-Up Day 2026 – Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19, 2026: A joint effort for a clean Switzerland

Does litter bother you too, and would you like to do something about it? On Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19, 2026, you’ll have the chance to do just that: Organize a local cleanup campaign together with your community, company, school, Scout troop, or club, and send a strong, lasting message against littering and for a clean Switzerland. The more campaigns, the greater the impact: Together with the community, make an active contribution to the quality of life and sense of safety in your municipality. Together and with mutual respect, we can make a difference.

Organizing local campaigns is the responsibility of local groups. On our website, you’ll find further information, options for ordering materials for volunteers, and you can register your cleanup campaign to benefit from our media coverage: www.clean-up-day.ch
