Grupo LatAm Christmas Fundraiser

Vivamos Mejor would like to build bridges together with you for socially disadvantaged people in Latin America. These bridges symbolize the transition to school, the entry into the working world or the step into an independent future.

This year has been financially devastating for many people, especially for the poorest of the poor. People who have been living on their existential minimum are easily being forgotten considering the problems many face today. However, now, more than ever, there are children and parents who need our support. Parents lose their jobs; children may not go to school anymore, as they have to try to earn money for their families as they might go hungry if they do not. They are plagued by sickness due to lack of medical infrastructure. COVID-19 has increased mortality in many South American countries. As most of you have roots in South America, these problems do not hit far from home. Your fellow Latin Americans are crying for help: Vivamos Mejor!

A huge thank you from the whole Vivamos Mejor team, dear supporters from the LatAm board! The amount of your donation has far exceeded our expectations and we are very grateful for it.

To experience this kind of solidarity motivates us very much to continue to do our best this year. As you know, the situation in Latin America remains precarious and we try to continue our projects as best we can. Where necessary, we provide emergency aid, e.g. with the delivery of food or protective equipment. However, it is also important to keep an eye on the long-term perspective, i.e. that young people can continue their education, for example, or that small children are lovingly supported so that they can later develop their full potential and lead an independent life.

We stay tuned and wish you all the best for the new year!

Dear supporters,

Wow, we are truly overwhelmed by your involvement, thank you so much! As you know, Latin America is very much affected by the pandemic and we are doing our best to stay in touch with our project participants and support them with food, education and hope. Enclosed you will find some impressions of the ongoing projects.
