Tour de Credit Suisse 2021, Swiss Team
Cycling for good, from 20 till 23 July 2021! Donations are collected in favor of the Charity of the Year 2021, namely the association CompiSternli.
This year, the 8th edition of the Tour de Credit Suisse returns for a 4-day cycling challenge through the stunning mountains of Switzerland. The route will start and finish in Zurich, covering approximately 620km with 12'500 meters of climbing. It includes the Schwägalp-, Oberalp-, Furka- and Grimselpass as well as the Grosse Scheidegg and Glaubenbülen.
Let's enjoy the time! It’s also a great way to see some spectacular scenery! Nevertheless, this will be a demanding physical challenge and it is aimed at experienced cyclists, however the key aim is to get everyone safely from start to finish and to raise lots of money for charity and the days will be broken up with food stops!
Future skills matters and we have to prepare the children!
Due to the extraordinary situation caused by Coronavirus, we have decided to continue the partnership with CompiSternli association as "Charity of the Year" in 2021.
They had to stop their successful generation project called "iPad project", which is in a nutshell: Schoolchildren teached older generation to take their first steps in the digital world.
However, such situations also create new opportunities! In the meantime the association has developed a new "future skills" project for schoolchildren, teacher and senior citizens. The workshops cover important elements of how the children learn to shape the future. They will discuss the past and future of the school's priorities, like what can we learn from history? Which values were important in the past and which values will be needed in the future? Which skills need to be acquired in order to survive in the digital age of the 21st century? What opportunities do the children see with regard to new technologies?
The schoolchildren will learn how to cope with new technologies and learn how to interview senior citizens and how to present in front of an audience/ a camera.
The aim is for all participants to fundraise for the Credit Suisse charity of the year in their offices/home offices. Also family and friends are more than welcome to support.

Das Projekt „Future Skills“ adressiert Schlüsselkompetenzen, die für Lernende von herausragender Bedeutung sind: Kommuni-kation, Kollaboration, Kreativität und kritisches Denken („4 K“). Konkret werden Medien-, Auftritts-, Präsentations- und Techkompetenzen sowie „Soft Skills“ geschult.

liebes Tour de Credit Suisse - Team; ihr seid genial. Wow, euer Support ist wirklich einzigartig.
Einer der Schlüssel unserer Zukunft wird die Kommunikationsfähigkeit sein. Kommunikation und Kollaboration über verschiedene Gruppierungen von Menschen, die sich auf den ersten Blick vielleicht gar nicht so viel zu sagen haben. Wir freuen uns riesig, haben wir durch eure Unterstützung die Chance, dies mit den Kids zu üben. Sie gehen in den Dialog mit älteren Personen und versuchen, Gemeinsamkeiten zu finden. Die Kids finden heraus, wie Schule früher funktionierte - und welche Kompetenzen damals wichtig waren. Dann schauen sie in die Zukunft. Sie versuchen zu erahnen, welche Kompetenzen wichtig sein werden, um die grossen Probleme in unserer Welt angehen zu können. Danke, ermöglicht ihr den Kids und den älteren Personen diese gemeinsame Arbeit.
