Our Impact Mongolia
Our Impact Monglia is a new independent NGO dedicated to bridging the needs of communities and the environment. Rooted in Mongolia's rich heritage, we work to create a sustainable future by addressing the interconnected challenges of climate change.
This fundraising campaign, in collaboration with Climate Bridges, supports Our Impact Mongolia in building a dedicated local team to lead climate education, community engagement, and advocacy efforts. Your support will help ensure the effective design and delivery of impactful, locally driven climate initiatives across Mongolia.

From vast deserts and sweeping grasslands to ancient forests, Mongolia is home to: Over 5,600 plant species; 138 mammal species, including snow leopards and wild Bactrian camels; 472 bird species, like the majestic Saker falcon and demoiselle crane
Yet, like many parts of the world, Mongolia faces mounting pressures: 77% of land is affected by desertification and land degradation; Livestock numbers have tripled since 1970, straining fragile ecosystems; The country has warmed by 2.24°C since 1940, twice the global average.
Despite these challenges, we offer a powerful message and movement: People and nature can thrive together, if we choose to invest in what we love.
Strong Foundation for Capacity Building
Mongolia stands at a critical crossroads, facing both urgent climate threats and powerful opportunities for change. In response, we have a dedicated team at Our Impact Mongolia committed to building local capacity by educating and empowering youth, community leaders, and grassroots partnerships. Our approach centers on practical, community-led climate solutions - from delivering Climate Fresk workshops that build climate literacy, to supporting local leaders through the Climate Reality Leadership Training, and uniting innovators through a nationwide Climathon. Beyond local action, we will elevate Mongolia’s climate priorities on the global stage, including active participation in COP30 and the UN Desertification COP17, ensuring Mongolia’s voice is heard where decisions matter most.
