Forest Management and Tree Planting
About the event
The Buchenegg State Forest manages approximately 650 hectares of state-owned forest and around 350 hectares of private forest (Stallikon/Wettswil).
We manage our forests according to the principles of continuous forest management and ensure that our protective forests as well as our recreational forests remain in good condition.
Damaged areas in the forest must be reforested as quickly as possible to prevent the rapid spread of brambles. To achieve this, we plant various tree species and subsequently protect them from deer and roe deer.
