Preparing food aid bags

About the event

Every week, the Partage Foundation provides several thousand emergency food aid bags to various social institutions in the canton of Geneva. Every
day, Partage collects, sorts, stores, and redistributes unsold items from Geneva-based food companies and stores, distributing them free of charge to a network of beneficiary social institutions.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to help us fill these bags (currently around 6,000 are prepared each week) with essential items (dry food and hygiene products).

Supervised by our staff in a warm and friendly atmosphere, we look forward to your help in carrying out our mission to combat poverty in Geneva.

This daily collaboration provides concrete support to people in precarious situations in the canton of Geneva.

Through its actions, Partage has a simultaneous impact on the three pillars of sustainable development (social, economic, and environmental).

  Without the help of volunteers, the success of these missions would simply not be possible. A huge
thank you to all our volunteers!

For Ukraine, we will support the purchase and distribution of food to beneficiary associations through any collections or donations that can be organized.

The economic crisis linked to Covid-19 has greatly increased precariousness in Geneva. Thousands of people have found themselves in difficult situations and are struggling to feed themselves properly.

Since June 2020, the authorities have mandated Partage to prepare and deliver food bags to distribution sites.
