About the event
Bergwald Project! Through corporate volunteering with the Bergwald Project, a company or organization shows that it takes environmental and social issues seriously. Employees from different functions and departments work together on forestry projects. The costs for food, accommodation, tools, and project management depend on the number of participants and are covered by the company.
The work, such as trail building, forest maintenance, biotope maintenance, planting, clearing felled trees, wildlife protection measures, construction, and fence building, is supervised by experienced project managers and trained group leaders. The work is tailored to local forestry needs and fills an important gap in the maintenance of the forest and the cultural landscape.

Breakfast and dinner at the accommodation, lunch in the forest. There is wholesome catering based on sustainable principles (regional, seasonal, organic, little meat).
Equipment
The basic equipment includes warm clothing suitable for the mountain weather with spare clothes for rainy days. High mountain boots with good tread soles are essential, as are good rain gear, sleeping bag, flashlight and thermos bottle.
