FINCA Ventures investee Jibu is a water company that capitalizes and equips entrepreneurs to own profitable franchises that provide access to affordable drinking water to communities across East Africa.
The objective of this placement is to create a single platform that allows quick updates to existing data sets.
Pulling data from different sources and formats into a single platform to facilitate analysis, visualization and reporting. Specifically;
- Design an automated reporting environment for various datasets available.
- Develop reports and analysis based on business requirements.
- Review current surveys and other data processes to improve design to facilitate automation of reports and make working with data more efficient
- Training end-users on the new reporting environment, reports and dashboards.
- Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleaning.
A single platform that allows quick updates to existing datasets as well as the data visuals
The volunteer will work with Jibu’s Head of IT (Isaac) and Chief Franchise Development Officer (Antonia) to share different data sources and formats, guide on insights expected from the data analytics, visualization and any other support required.
