On April 29, we celebrate World Wish Day in memory of the first wish granted, which later inspired the creation of Make-A-Wish. On this occasion, we are organizing a fundraiser in which anyone can participate to the extent of their means.

Our goal is to help finance the wish of a seriously ill child in the coming months (the average cost of a wish is estimated at CHF 5'000.00). Here are some examples of wishes that will require financial support:

- Y and L, both in wheelchairs due to their illness, wish to go on vacation with their family to Ticino to meet up again and to forget for a while the obstacles of everyday life. We will have to finance the trip, the accommodation, the activities, the travel and the meals for the 6 people who make up this family.

- N is a monstertruck fan and absolutely wants to go to an unforgettable show, to ride on a machine, to discuss with the specialists, to live an incredible experience. On our side, we will have to find the right provider and partner, finance the stay and accommodation for the child and his family, and all the other costs related to this experience.

- G is a big Harry Potter fan. Her dearest wish is to be able to enter this universe, to discover all the facets of these adventures, to make unforgettable encounters. Funds will be welcome to provide her with a wonderful stay in the land of Harry Potter, accommodation, travel, some specific activities and meetings, for her but also for her close family members.

There are many other wishes to finance that are in the process of being prepared. Each wish is different and requires special preparation adapted to the child's needs/wishes and medical condition.

We hope to raise enough money to fund as many wishes as possible for children in need and offer them and their families a break from their treatments, a magical and hopeful moment, and the strength to continue on their journey.
