About the event
Tischlein deck dich saves food from being destroyed and distributes it to people affected by poverty throughout Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Every day, we receive fruits and vegetables from the Migros distribution center that can no longer be sold. We sort through them and are able to save about 85%. The remaining 15% goes to biogas production. We distribute the saved fruits and vegetables to people affected by poverty at our approximately 157 distribution points.
We are looking for new, dedicated “Food Savers” to join our committed team of volunteers to help manage the volume.
