Maintenance and cleaning work at the Swiss School for Guide Dogs for the Blind in Allschwil
About the event
Get to know the Allschwil Guide Dog School (BL) and support us with work in the run-up to the visiting days and with work throughout the grounds.
The corporate social volunteers work in small groups in the mornings and afternoons. They are provided with meals by the school and gain an insight into our school during a guided tour of the premises.
The following activities are planned: Maintenance work such as cleaning windows, the garage, and vehicles (dog transporters, fleet); grounds maintenance such as weeding and other gardening work.
Schedule
8:15 AM - Arrival in Allschwil and Welcome
8:30 AM - 12:30 PM - First Assignment:

Cleaning and grounds maintenance
(including a break at 10:00 AM with coffee/tea and croissants)
12:30 PM - 1:15 PM - Lunch at the School
1:15 PM - 2:10 PM - Guided Tour of the Premises, Visit to the Puppy Area, and Dog Care
2:10 PM - 4:00 PM - Second Assignment:

4:00 PM - Farewell
