Tour Accompaniment in the Zurich Region

About the event

Your employees will accompany an experienced volunteer on a scheduled tour.

Using a refrigerated vehicle, surplus yet flawless food products will be collected from retail stores and distributed, according to the route plan, to social institutions and distribution points within the region.

Each tour involves the transportation of approximately 60 to 70 crates of food per day.

There are no costs for individual participation.

Groups are supervised by the regional coordinator.

At the conclusion of the tour, we offer a light snack at the respective regional site and provide the team with the opportunity to reflect on their experiences.

For group participation (maximum 5 people), we kindly request a donation of CHF 1,000.00 to cover our coordination efforts.

Registration must be completed at least four weeks prior to the scheduled assignment.

Description

Assignment Location:

Please arrive punctually at 07:45 at Schweizer Tafel, Zurich Region, Giessenstrasse 15, 8953 Dietikon.
In case of delays, please inform the Zurich dispatch office immediately at 058 255 62 50.

Arrival:

We recommend arriving by public transport and disembarking at Glanzenberg Station. The Schweizer Tafel building is within walking distance (approximately 650 meters).
There are no parking spaces available on site. Paid parking is available at the "Park + Rail Bahnhof Glanzenberg" car park.

Daily Schedule:

The day will begin with a briefing provided by the regional manager or dispatcher.
Following this, the scheduled tour in the Zurich region will commence. Meals will be taken during the journey.
Return to Dietikon is expected at approximately 15:30, marking the end of the assignment.
