Forest management and tree planting
About the event
The Buchenegg State Forest manages around 650 hectares of state forest and approximately 350 hectares of private forest (Stallikon/Wettswil).
We manage our forests according to the permanent forest principle and ensure that our protective forests and recreational forests are in good condition.
Damaged areas in the forest must be reforested as quickly as possible to prevent blackberries from spreading too rapidly. To this end, we plant various tree species and then protect them from deer and roe deer.
