Snack HOPE
About the event
Our project provides space in a large hall for 80–100 guests, whom we serve a fine vegetarian lunch every Monday and Wednesday. We are supported by around 30 volunteers who, with great dedication, cook, prepare desserts, set tables, sort donated food, and package it for distribution.
After the shared meal, the team of helpers clears away, washes the dishes, and cleans the kitchen to ensure smooth operations.
The project thrives on the active involvement of the volunteers. They value the opportunity to contribute, to be part of a community, and to experience recognition and dignity. At the same time, they can improve their German language skills, enjoy a free meal, and take groceries home.
We are very grateful for this valuable support and proud to have created, together, a place of encounter, solidarity, and mutual appreciation.
