Our charity is entering Carbon Hack 22 - a race to build the most innovative carbon aware software solutions using the Green Software Foundation's Carbon Aware SDK with a total prize pool of $90,000 USD.
The SDK enables software to do more when the energy is clean and less when the energy is dirty.

We will be taking our public open source content distribution sustainability even further during the course of the event. Our flagship platform Druid will be made to adapt to grid intensity levels favoring resources running in locations accross the world with lower carbon intensity. Druid will become the very first modern rapid development platform to become carbon aware and you can become apart of the team that makes it happen while also raising money for a good cause – protecting the environment.
In a team effort we will be delivering a completely functional carbon aware modern web app.
Volunteers will be provided with access to relevant Github repositories, issues, wikis, and ability to submit Github pull requests.
