Team Geneva, IC Charity Days 2019
A key part of our IC Mission is "we act as teams". With the aim of fostering team spirit and doing good, we invite you to "team up for others" across departments and locations. It will be a fantastic opportunity to get to know your colleagues from different departments and increase our cooperation between teams!
We have prepared a set of sport challenges in Dublin, Geneva, Zurich, Wroclaw and Luxembourg in September with the goal of supporting a charity in each location dedicated to children in need. Following the challenge, you will have the chance to celebrate together at an after-party.
- 1st event: September 5th will be in Dublin in favor of the charity "Down Syndrome Ireland"
- 2nd event: September 17th will be in Geneva in favor of the charity "Pro Juventute"
- 3rd event: September 19th will be in Zurich in favor of the charity "Pro Juventute"
- 4th event: September 26th will be in Wroclaw in favor of the charity Stowarzyszenie (association) Hospicjum dla Dzieci Dolnego Slaska "Formula Dobra"
- 5th event: September 30th will be in Luxembourg in favor of the charity L'Île aux clowns
Program: Counselling + Help 147: Help for children and young people in need
The emergency number 147 from Pro Juventute helps children and young people with questions, problems and emergency situations like family matters, violence, addiction, school, job, love, friendship and sexuality.
This counselling is available via telephone, SMS, chat, e-mail and web service (147.ch). On the Internet platform, children and young people can find further answers to their questions as well as numerous links and addresses of specialist agencies.
Suicide is the second leading cause of death among children and adolescents in Switzerland. Every day, at least two children or adolescents with suicidal thoughts call the free emergency number for advice + assistance 147. Pro Juventute's specialist advisers help them 365 days a year, around the clock. Neutral, discreet and 100% confidential.
To fundraise for this great initiative at the "IC Charity Days" which will take September 17th in Geneva.

Hier erhalten Kinder und Jugendliche Tag und Nacht durch ausgebildete Fachkräfte sofort Hilfe und Rat.
