About the event
Looking for a meaningful and impactful way to bring your team together while giving back to the community? ThanksGiver Schweiz offers unique corporate team-building events that combine teamwork with social responsibility, turning excess food into access for those in need. Join us for an eye-opening and fulfilling experience that your team will truly appreciate!
After a brief introduction to our mission and operations, your team will dive straight into the action, setting up and running a food bank in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Hands-on activities include:
- Receiving and sorting food donations
- Packing food parcels for families and individuals in need
- Assisting with food distribution
- Helping with loading and unloading delivery vans
- Tidying up after the event is complete
The full experience - from welcome to wrap-up - takes approximately 3 to 4 hours.
Throughout the day, we’ll keep spirits high with coffee, tea, light snacks, good vibes, and plenty of group photos to capture the moments. After the event, we’ll share an e-book with practical tips on reducing food waste
Program
14:00 – 14:15 | Welcome & Introduction
Arrival of participants, registration, and introduction to the host organization and event objectives.
14:15 – 14:30 | Briefing & Task Allocation
Overview of the activities, safety instructions, and assignment of volunteer roles.
14:30 – 15:45 | Volunteering Activity – Session 1
Participants work together on the planned volunteer tasks.
15:45 – 16:00 | Coffee Break
16:00 – 17:00 | Volunteering Activity – Session 2
Continuation and completion of volunteer activities.
17:00 – 17:20 | Wrap-Up & Impact Reflection
Review of achievements, sharing experiences, and discussion of the impact created.
17:20 – 17:30 | Feedback & Closing Remarks
Participant feedback, thank you message, and end of the event.

Venue Address
Habsburgstrasse 17, 8037 Zürich, Switzerland. The venue is located in the Wipkingen district of Zurich and is easily accessible by public transport.
Public Transport
Tram 13 to Wipkingerplatz (short walk to the venue).
S-Bahn services to Zürich Wipkingen Station, followed by a brief walk.
Parking
Limited street parking may be available in the surrounding area. Participants are encouraged to use public transportation whenever possible.
