Tour Accompaniment in the Northwestern Switzerland Region

About the event

Your employees will accompany an experienced volunteer on a distribution tour.

Using a refrigerated vehicle, surplus but high-quality food will be collected from retail outlets and distributed, according to a predefined route plan, to social institutions and distribution points within the region.

Approximately 60 to 70 crates of food are transported per tour per day.

There is no cost for individual participation.

Groups are supervised by the regional coordinator.

At the end of the tour, we offer a small snack at the respective regional location and provide the team with the opportunity to reflect on the day’s experiences.

For group participation (maximum of 5 people), we kindly request a donation of CHF 1,000.00 to cover coordination efforts.

Registration must be completed at least four weeks prior to the assignment.

Description

Assignment Location:
Please arrive punctually at 08:00 at Schweizer Tafel, Northwestern Switzerland Region, Muttenzerstrasse 109, 4133 Pratteln. In case of delay, please immediately inform the Northwestern Switzerland Dispatch Office at +41 58 255 62 60.

Arrival:
We recommend traveling by public transport and alighting at the “Kästeli” tram stop. The Schweizer Tafel building is within a short walking distance (approx. 400 meters).
Please note: There are no parking spaces available on-site. You may use the parking lot at the “Lachmatt” shooting range, which is approximately a 7-minute walk away.

Daily Schedule:
The briefing will be conducted by the regional coordinator or dispatcher. The scheduled tour in the Northwestern Switzerland region will begin immediately afterward. Meals will be taken en route. Return to Pratteln is expected at approximately 16:00, at which point the assignment concludes.
