Tour Accompaniment in the Mittelland Region

About the event

Your employees will accompany an experienced volunteer on a scheduled distribution tour.

Using a refrigerated vehicle, surplus yet high-quality food will be collected from retail stores and distributed according to a predefined route to social institutions and distribution centers in the region.

Each tour transports approximately 60 to 70 crates of food per day.

There is no cost for individual participation.

Groups will be supervised by the regional coordinator.

At the conclusion of the tour, we will offer a light snack at the respective regional location and provide the team with the opportunity to reflect on their experiences.

For group participation (maximum of 5 persons), we kindly request a donation of CHF 1,000.00 to support our coordination efforts.

Registration must be completed at least four weeks prior to the scheduled assignment.

Description

Assignment Location:

Please arrive punctually at 07:30 at Schweizer Tafel, Region Mittelland, located at Belpstrasse 24, 3122 Kehrsatz.
In case of delay, please inform the Mittelland dispatch office immediately by calling 058 255 62 20.

Arrival:

We recommend traveling by public transport and disembarking at Kehrsatz railway station. The Schweizer Tafel building is within walking distance (approximately 200 meters).
There are only a few parking spaces available on-site. If you require a parking space, please notify us in advance.

Daily Schedule:

A briefing will be provided by the regional manager or dispatcher. The scheduled tour within the Mittelland region will then commence. Meals will be taken on the go.
Return to Flamatt is expected at approximately 3:00 PM, marking the end of the assignment.
