Tour Accompaniment in the Eastern Switzerland Region

About the event

Your employees will accompany an experienced volunteer on a distribution tour.

Using a refrigerated vehicle, surplus yet high-quality food will be collected from retail outlets and distributed, according to a predefined tour plan, to social institutions and distribution points within the region.

Approximately 60 to 70 crates of food are transported per tour per day.

There is no cost for individual participation.

Groups are supervised by the regional coordinator.

At the end of the tour, we will offer a light snack at the respective regional location and provide the team with an opportunity to reflect on the day’s experiences.

For group participation (maximum of 5 people), we kindly request a donation of CHF 1,000.00 to cover our coordination efforts.

Registration must be completed at least four weeks prior to the assignment.

Description

Assignment Location:
Please arrive punctually at 08:00 at Schweizer Tafel, Eastern Switzerland Region, Güterbahnhofstrasse 2, 9000 St. Gallen. In case of delay, please immediately inform the Eastern Switzerland Dispatch Office at +41 58 255 62 70.

Arrival:
We recommend traveling by public transport and alighting at St. Gallen train station. The Schweizer Tafel building is within a short walking distance (approximately 900 meters).
Limited parking is available on-site. If you require a parking space, please notify us in advance.

Daily Schedule:
The briefing will be conducted by the regional coordinator or dispatcher. The scheduled tour in the Eastern Switzerland region will begin immediately afterward. Meals will be taken en route. Return to St. Gallen is expected at approximately 16:00, at which point the assignment concludes.
