About the event
Company Bergwald! Through corporate volunteering with the mountain forest project, a company or organization shows that it takes environmental and social concerns seriously. When it comes to forest work, employees from different functions and departments work together. The costs for food, accommodation, tools and project management depend on the number of participants and are borne by the company.
The work, such as path construction, forest maintenance, biotope maintenance, planting, field clearance, wildlife protection measures, barriers and fence construction, is supervised by experienced project managers and trained group leaders. The work is tailored to local forestry needs and fills an important gap in the care of the forest and the cultural landscape.

Breakfast and dinner at the accommodation, lunch in the forest. There is wholesome catering based on sustainable principles (regional, seasonal, organic, little meat).
Equipment
The basic equipment includes warm clothing suitable for the mountain weather with spare clothes for rainy days. High mountain boots with good tread soles are essential, as are good rain gear, sleeping bag, flashlight and thermos bottle.
