Mountain Farm Support - Pasture & Forest Care
About the event
This mountain farm focuses on dairy farming and young cattle breeding. During the summer months, most of the livestock graze on the Alp, where careful land management is essential to ensure healthy pastures and sustainable agricultural practices.
To maintain high-quality grazing areas, volunteer support is highly valued. Corporate teams assist with pasture and forest-edge care, helping to remove thistles, thorn bushes, and unwanted scrub. These efforts improve the feed base for the livestock, prevent overgrowth, and contribute to the long-term preservation of the alpine landscape.
Participants work alongside the farming team on practical, outdoor tasks that make a direct and visible impact. The day offers meaningful physical activity in a beautiful mountain setting while supporting sustainable Swiss agriculture.
