About the event

An Immersive Experience in the Heart of the Apiary!

***In JULY, some activities involve direct contact with the bees. We provide all the necessary protective equipment, and every session is fully supervised to ensure a safe experience. However, as zero risk does not exist, we cannot stay-open to individuals with a known allergy to bee stings ***

Hello everyone,

Winter is far from being a time of rest for bees... and even less so for those who protect them! To prepare for the return of spring and ensure the survival of our colonies, the non profit Apidae association needs your hands and your energy.

We’re offering you a hands-on experience behind the scenes of beekeeping. No need to be an expert—all that matters is your motivation!

Your "Heart of the Hive" Mission in JULY !

During this day, you’ll actively participate in the association’s work through various essential workshops:

  • Renovation & Prevention: Scraping, painting, and scorching the hives to ensure a healthy habitat for our bees.
  • Wax Crafting: Melting wax and embossing new frames (a fascinating step!).
  • Logistics & Packaging: Jarring the harvest, labeling, and preparing orders (box packing).
  • Apiary Management: Inventory, organizing equipment, and small DIY projects.

Why join us

By participating in this day, you’re taking direct action to preserve local biodiversity. It’s also the perfect opportunity to strengthen team cohesion in an authentic setting, away from screens, while discovering the secrets of a fascinating craft.

Did you know?

Preparing the equipment for winter is the crucial step that allows the colonies to thrive peacefully as soon as the first rays of March sunshine appear.

The APIDAE association holds all required public liability insurance (RC) to conduct these activities.
