Outdoor activities at ZuKi-am-Teuflibach Adventure Park

About the event

As a non-profit association, ZuKi maintains, cares for, and opens the nature-oriented adventure playground "Abenteuerland ZuKi-am-Teuflibach" for primary school children and young families. The approximately 7,000 m² of land and three buildings are maintained by us volunteers for the target group.

On the one hand, we want to bring children and young families closer to nature. To do this, nature must also be playable, which is why maintenance work is necessary.

We also want to encourage parents to play, work, and do crafts with their children.

The Volunteer Day therefore benefits children and young families in every way.

Together we will:

Repair the forest stairs
Clear wood from the stream and ravine
Chop wood
Cut bushes
Trim blackberries
Mowing the meadow
Weeding
Painting window shutters

Program

08:30 Coffee & croissants with introduction & overview of the day

09:00 Start of outdoor work, everything as needed:

Repairing forest steps
Clearing wood from the stream and ravine
Splitting wood
Cutting bushes
Renovating the storm water channel
Trim blackberries
Mowing the meadow
Weeding
Painting window shutters

One in the afternoon

2:00 p.m. We continue working.

+ Chopping firewood, various outdoor and indoor tasks

4:30 p.m. Slowly coming to an end

Directions:

Best by public transportation

From Cham train station, take bus no. 42 to Lorzenpark or bus no. 43 to Hammer. It’s about a 5-minute walk from both bus stops.

Only a few parking spaces available on-site; please carpool.
IMPORTANT: Enter “Lorzenparkstrasse 3” into your GPS. Drive into Lorzenpark (to the left of the large parking lot at the bottom) at a maximum speed of 20 km/h. After 20 meters, turn left again toward the forest. There are 3 parking spaces off to the side before the forest. Please do not park at the Lorzenpark development; all parking spaces there are reserved.
